Work-Life Balance
A recent ICM poll of 5,000 UK employees, commissioned by the Guardian on behalf of Unum, found that basic work-life benefits were among those respondents rated highest.

£8.5 billion lost in unclaimed benefits
A recent report by unbiased.co.uk has reported that failure to claim all available credits will mean UK taxpayers, low income families and pensioners will give up over £8.5 billion in the current tax year.
Many people are not aware of what they are entitled to resulting in unnecessary tax overpayments and valuable benefits not claimed.
Whilst some working parents claim the childcare voucher benefit through their employers, they may still not be aware that they qualify for child tax credits or working tax credits.
The report continues to say that an estimated 3% of families will fail to claim their child benefit. With the average yearly amount not claimed per family totalling £829.47 this will result in a massive £394 million of child benefit which remains unclaim

Schools (Nearly) Out for Summer!
At EYVL (Early Years Vouchers Ltd) we are always looking to provide our clients with the best service possible and with the school holidays fast approaching we have produced some marketing material to keep the childcare voucher benefit in the minds of parents and help them plan ahead and manage the work/life balance.
We have a half term and a summer flyer which can be e-mailed as a PDF or sent out as a hard copy to put in payslips or put up on notice boards.
In addition to the seasonal marketing we also have new leaflets and posters that give contact details for the EVYL team. The new posters and leaflets show savings to be made for new joiners taking the benefit (post 6th April 2011).

Yes, it's official, the Early Years Vouchers team are willing to walk over hot coals for you having successfully completed a charity firewalk on Friday 13th May 2011.
The team raised over £2,000 for the Children Today charity by taking part in the firewalk event and were splendidly coached for their daring walk by the superb company "Blaze" www.blazefirewalking.com
Children Today are a charity that raises funds to provide specialised equipment for children and young people with disabilities throughout the UK. Early Years Vouchers Welcomes....
Early Years Vouchers Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Louise Gartside as Business Development Manager. Having recently returned from maternity leave, Louise joined Early Years Vouchers Ltd in 2005 and said of her new role "This is a really exciting opportunity to develop the EYVL brand".
As a result of Louise's new role, Early Years Vouchers is also excited to announce the permanent employment of another Louise!!!!! Louise Hinde was taken on in early 2010 to cover maternity leave and has proved such a popular and hardworking employee that she signed a permanent contract in March 2011.
With the expansion of the customer service and business development team, Early Years Vouchers also appointed a new office administrator last May. Gemma Rae came to the company with a background in banking and accountancy.

Charity Firewalking event on Friday 13th May!
Early Years Vouchers Ltd is proud to be raising money for Children Today. They are a charity that raises funds to provide specialised equipment for children and young people with disabilities. Their aim is to ensure that every disabled child and young person fulfils their potential and leads an active childhood.
On Friday 13th May the Early Years Vouchers team will be walking on hot coals all in the name of charity! As if this wasn't mad enough I am also attempting an 80 mile cycle on the 7th of May also for Children Today. I am so glad I bought padded cycling shorts!
